We are looking for a committed, compassionate person to help connect people to life. Our front-line support team interacts with our consumers over the phone, in person, or by email. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for providing great customer service by responding to our consumers requests and providing information. Our center is a hub for transportation information in Allegheny County.
Skills/Requirements
- High School Diploma
- At least one-year experience in a customer service call center or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Allegheny County geography, major road networks and travel times
- Strong listening/comprehension skills
- Positive attitude
- Basic Computer skills with the ability to learn a new program
- Desire to help and support people
- Critical thinking/problem solving
- High level of motivation with the ability to operate under minimal supervision
- Detail oriented with the ability to maintain a variety of complex records and to prepare reports.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and understand problems and to determine the appropriate measures to solve problems.
- Ability to deal patiently and friendly with external customer problems and complaints and remain courteous when faced with a difficult or angry customer.

- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant procedures
- Document information accurately
- Complete all tasks before or on the due date
- Communicate verbally and in writing with attention to details
- Full time 8AM – 4:30PM
