Self Direction Direct Support Professional – North Syracuse, NY
AccessCNY is seeking a Direct Support Staff to assist an active young man with a developmental disability. He is looking for a staff to assist him with working on his goals both at home and in his community.
Goals include:
- Socialization – Connecting with peers and building relationships
- Independent living skills - grocery shopping, cooking, money management
Seeking a DSP who is reliable, enthusiastic, creative, and active. Related experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required. Please respond with resume or summary of experience.
Candidate must possess a keen sense of attention to detail, especially when electronically logging each day's time, mileage, and service documentation. DSP must have a valid email address.
Reliable transportation and driver's license is required. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by non-profit agency.

Full-time opportunities may be available.
Pay rate: $24 per hour plus $.70 per mile reimbursement
Location: North Syracuse, NY
In addition to the hourly wage, AccessCNY provides the following benefits to its employees:
