General Summary

The Emergency Department (ED) Technician II provides clinical nursing assistant services under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include:

  • Basic nursing care and routine treatment procedures
  • Setting up for procedures and accurately completing requisitions
  • Transporting patients and restocking supplies
  • Performing venipuncture and administering IV fluids
  • Documenting patient care and reporting changes in condition

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED; EMT/Paramedic certification

Experience: New graduates welcome; 1 years preferred.
