ACCIONA, in its CONSTRUCTION business line, needs to hire a Construction Manager for an important tender in the United States:
Job Description:
- Responsible for the overall supervision of commercial, industrial and civil aspects of the bid/project. Ensure that all phases are completed on time, within budget, and with the required quality.
- Manage and work closely with developers, project managers, consultant engineers, utility providers, and local authorities.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors to ensure quality and adherence to deadlines.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues. Review work progress on a daily basis and prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft particular conditions in contracts, and obtain permits and licenses with the team. Meet contractual conditions of performance and ensure proper administrative procedures are followed.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. Responsible for the safety, quality, budget, and schedule of the bid/project.

• 5 years of leadership and previous projects/bids
• 5 years’ experience working on complex road, bridge and rail projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to resolve project disputes with no management assistance
• Ability to manages issues Owner, Authorities and stakeholders
• Excellent presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, MS Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of Project Management systems and scheduling software
• Experience with complex private and public partnership contracts
