Job Title : Project Manager

Location :Onsite in Austin TX (only locals)

Target experience : 5 to 8 years

Job Overview: The IT Project Manager will lead and manage technology projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met in alignment with the business's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, be highly organized, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management strategies. Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring proper communication, coordination, and cooperation among all team members. Scope Management: Define project scope, deliverables, and ensure that project changes are carefully controlled and documented. Budget Management: Track project expenses, ensuring that the project stays within the allocated budget, and report financial status to stakeholders. Timeline Management: Ensure timely project delivery by monitoring and adjusting project schedules as needed. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent or minimize impact on project success. Quality Control: Oversee the quality assurance processes and ensure project outputs meet required standards and business needs. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with all project stakeholders, including business leaders, clients, and team members. Project Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and post-project evaluations. Problem Solving: Address project challenges promptly, adjusting plans or processes as necessary to ensure successful project completion. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement for future projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications preferred. Proven experience in managing IT projects (5 years or more). Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Experience with project management software tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project). Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and delivering quality results.
