Job Title: Java L2 Support
Job Type: Fulltime (Onsite, 5 days per week)
Location: New York City, NY
Experience preferably: 6-10 years
Responsibilities:
Maintain a proactive approach throughout the day, with the ability to analyze, debug, and resolve issues.
Develop and enhance the SRE strategy to ensure the plant's scalability, reliability, and performance.
Efficiently escalate issues to the development team, raise incidents, manage impact, and communicate with users and stakeholders.
Automate manual processes to improve efficiency.
Escalate issues to management on both support and development sides, raise problem tickets, and collaborate with development teams to address issues and drive transformations.
Possesses a solid understanding of technical concepts and can write code when necessary.
Create documentation, runbooks, and code snippets to resolve issues and share them with the team.
Key criteria:
Level L2, L3 Application Support experience, preferably in the 6-10 years range.
Technical Skills: Unix/Linux, any object-oriented programming experience (Java, C etc.), with a good understanding of databases.
Proficient in coding and debugging.
Strong communication skills.
