Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Support healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection and promote hygiene.
- Provide assistance in memory care programs for patients with cognitive impairments.
- Help with the management of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as needed.
- Collaborate with home care teams to deliver comprehensive support to patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding patient needs and progress.
Requirements
- Previous experience in geriatrics, emergency medicine, or assisted living is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
- Knowledge of memory care practices is a plus.
