The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives for API. This position is not just about coming up with innovative ideas; you will be responsible for both the strategy and hands-on execution of campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness, attracting new clients, and retaining our diverse client portfolio. Essential Functions :

- Lead creative efforts to build and evolve the API brand, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all touchpoints.
- Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
- Conceptualize and execute innovative marketing campaigns, ensuring the creative vision aligns with strategic goals. Regularly assess campaign performance and optimize for better results.
- Conduct in-depth client research and competitive analysis to continuously refine and adapt marketing strategies and communications to the market’s evolving needs.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of content across all channels—website, social media, email, and more—ensuring content is on-brand, targeted, and engaging for various audiences.
- Take a hands-on role in the creative development and execution of marketing strategies for events, conferences, webinars, and trade shows—ensuring each event is a memorable experience that showcases the brand effectively and engages key audiences.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (sales, product, HR, etc.) and external partners, ensuring marketing initiatives align with overall business goals.
- Lead or support various special projects and ad-hoc marketing initiatives, including product launches, market expansions, or internal communications.
- Collaborate with the HR and internal teams to develop and execute effective internal communications that reinforce company culture and drive employee engagement.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across projects and channels, and provide regular performance reports with insights for ongoing improvement.
Required Skills, Education and Experience
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full time, Monday through Friday, normal core business hours and as needed on nights and weekends unless otherwise specified. This is a hybrid opportunity with a minimum of 3 days in our Melville, NY headquarters.

Good faith annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 plus bonus and is commensurate with experience.
