Job Description
- Write and disseminate press kits, pitches, publisher notices, calendar listings.
- Advise on marketing and advertising copy and provide editing for brand consistency.
- Develop design and artwork in accordance with corporate standards for advertising and hotel collateral.
- Oversee layout and design of ads, collateral and any other projects.
- Propose new and creative ideas / concepts to improve overall brand standards.
- Study and prepare layouts, proposed artwork sketches and related materials.
- Determine the most appropriate style, techniques and medium to produce desired effects and meet reproduction requirements.
- Formulate concepts and present illustrations and details from models, sketches.
- Analyze illustrations at various stages of completion and make changes as necessary.
- Select type, draw lettering, design materials, or perform related tasks.
- Build positive relationships with local media and industry partners in key markets.
- Develop and maintain all media lists and contact information.
- Maintain an up-to-date photo and video library, including a photographic record of all media and special events.
- Extend the brand's reach with marketing partnerships and non-traditional media.
- Develop proactive marketing and communication plans (monthly and annual) aimed at achieving results and building awareness, thereby maximizing the power of the brand worldwide.
- Develop sponsorship opportunities and partnerships that enhance and support brand development.
