Job Description
- Foster Raffles Values : Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Caring
- Lead and guide Security team to provide best service to all team members
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Security department
- Ensure overall Guest and Colleague safety through the implementation and review of hotel-wide security measures
- Supervise the work of Security staff from an outsourcing company
- Implement appropriate training methods to ensure that the entire Security team is familiar with the standards and can apply them
- Responsible for training all newly hired employees in fire safety and first aid
- Cooperate with other hotel security agencies and law enforcement agencies and investigate all security issues
- Act as a liaison within the community and policing forces to maintain awareness of current security issues
- Complete daily Security reports
- Perform lock audits as required and assist in maintaining key control
- Manage the departmental budget
- Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety policies
