Description
- Assist the Shipping and Receiving Department by preparing pallets ready to be shipped or placed into warehouse.
- Banding pallets by hand or use of an automatic banding tool.
- Operating stretch wrap machine.
- Use of hand tools.
- Loading and unloading trucks with the use of Powered Pallet Jack and or a Forklift truck.
- Stack and un-stack boxes.
- Cleaning/sweeping.
- Must wear PPE as required or needed.
- Any other appropriate work assignments as required by Manager.
- The ability to pick up or place cartons/boxes on to a pallet or off a pallet as needed.
- Successfully and certifiable ability to operate a Forklift Truck and or Power Pallet Jack.
- Capable of working with others as part of a work team.
- This is an entry level position
- Warehouse experience helpful
- Prior certifiable Forklift experience preferred.
