Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

This role is assisting Sourcing & Fulfillment Managers to:

o Enter RFQ's

o Place vendor PO’s with selected vendors

o Negotiate vendor terms

o Receive vendor invoices

o Follow up with Vendors for on time shipping

o Work to reduce claims and manage claims process

o Work with receiving department to ensure what is ordered is correct

Skills:

-can think outside the box, attention to detail, organized, collaborative, time sensitive, reliable, accurate, communication skills

Requirements:

· Minimum two year associates degree and 2 years experience in procurement

· Experience in aerospace, medical device or automotive is a plus

· Proficient in math as it pertains to procurement

· Proficient computer skills using Microsoft office

· Experience with online inventory locator services (eg. ILS) a plus

· Ability to read and comprehend directions in order to perform the job, participate in product training, and other resources available to enhance knowledge of product and service

· Must be customer service oriented

Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000
