We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, planning production, ERP systems, Excel, negotiations, analytics, logistics, and manufacturing. This role requires a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position. As a Procurement Specialist, you will take charge of our purchasing operations, ensuring that all procurement activities align with our business goals and strategies. You will be a key player in our team, contributing to our growth and success by leveraging your skills and expertise in the procurement domain (APIC CPIM/CPSM certified a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing and inventory strategies as well as manage all activities related to materials procurement.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
• Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks in procurement process.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for services and products.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
• Coordinate with production planning to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Maintain procurement and inventory data integrity in the ERP system, abide by FDA and other regulatory body’s requirements, and GMP.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
• Experience with ERP systems and logistics management.
• APIC CPIM/CPSM certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.
