Jasper is a haven for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts, surrounded by the majestic Canadian Rockies and breathtaking landscapes.Job DescriptionSalary Range : $52,000-$57,000 gross annually, based on previous experience.As the Assistant Laundry Manager, your care and attention to detail in our Laundry operation will ensure exceptional standards for our hotel lines. You will take pride in the role you play facilitating a memorable guest stay. In this role, you will support the hotel by : Ensuring the upkeep of all Laundry / Valet areas in respect to complete care, cleanliness and maintenance.Training and supervising all employees within the Laundry / Valet department.Monitoring health and safety regulations and W.H.I.M.S. training.Performing general office administration, which includes town contracts, payroll, scheduling, ordering supplies, and inventory control.Conducting performance evaluations of all Laundry / Valet colleagues.Conducting rooms and food and beverage linen inventories in conjunction with the Rooms Division and Food and Beverage Division Managers and placing orders to ensure adequate supplies based on business levels.QualificationsYour experience and skills include : Previous supervisory experience required.Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning products is an asset.Valid Alberta driver’s license required; ability to drive a standard vehicle is an asset.Able to work flexible hours over a 24-hour period.Job Perks & Benefits : Subsidized staff accommodation provided.Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria each shift.Access to Employee Travel Program.Discounts on hotel Food & Beverage, Spa, and Golf Membership.Additional InformationVisa Requirements : Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
