Job Description :
The Financial Reporting Manager oversees a team of accountants responsible for both internal and external financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and executive reports, projections, and multi-year budgets for the enterprise and its subsidiaries. T
he team :
1) ensures proper communication and adherence to policies and processes across the organization that enable accurate and timely reporting,
2) collaborates with regional and corporate partners,
3) continuously seeks improvements and implements efficient, effective solutions,
4) provides consulting and research support to key leaders, and
5) leads the external audits. The Financial Reporting Manager helps shape the strategic direction of the function, balancing organizational goals while promoting continuous learning and development for team members.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
- Prefer CPA with 5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate or public accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Focus on financial reporting or auditing preferred.
- Able to adapt and adjust quickly to competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles, with the ability to implement new accounting procedures, standards and policies.
- Strong accounting, analytical, research, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent organizational, time management, and collaboration abilities.
- Effectively collaborates in cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable guiding the reporting approach for a growing organization.
