Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Work with the Sales and Technical departments to quote new items using our “Request for Quote (RFQ) system.
• Make sure all specs in the RFQ system are correct.
• Send Quote for approval by the Sales Manager.
• Ensure all quotes are double checked for accuracy.
• Work with the Senior Financial Analyst and VP of Finance to develop reporting and analysis of customer profitability.
• Help track cost impact of any spec changes for current items.
• Perform ad hoc duties: o Cost reduction projects.
o Assist with the annual review of production standards. o Assist with customer profitability reviews.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• associate in finance or 5 years related experience.
• Costing experience not required but a plus.
• Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish rapport and develop relationships with all key production departments.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized and possess an analytical approach to solving problems.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Word, with preference given to knowledge of manufacturing costing.
• Knowledge of creating a job and building BOMs.
