Location
Our office is located in Lenoir, NC. You will work on-site Monday - Thursday.
Why This Role Is Important
This role is critical in ensuring the success of our projects. As a project manager, you will be responsible for:
- Participating in proposal meetings to review the scope of work, suggest cost-reducing strategies, and provide value engineering ideas.
- Reviewing contract documents with all project participants (clients, employees, subcontractors, suppliers, regulators) to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
- Finalizing and managing project budgets, ensuring alignment with the owner's contract, including bonds, fees, notifications, schedules, and reporting.
- Coordinating and delivering all requirements to subcontractors and suppliers to meet project schedules.
- Maintaining a secure, safe, and respectful work environment by implementing safety, EEO, risk management, training, and quality control programs.
The Background That Fits
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Project management experience in General Contracting (GC) and commercial construction projects, in market segments including technology, power/energy, mission critical, corporate services, health sciences/medical, financial services, and public sectors.
- 5-7 years of project management experience, with a strong track record of managing people, multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Leadership experience managing a team of at least 10.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project for project tracking, reporting, and communication.
- Procore experience preferred.
