- Policy Development and Management:
- Develop, update, and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate policies effectively across the organization and ensure consistent application.
- Regulatory and Compliance Audits:
- Lead the planning and execution of internal and external compliance audits, including identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Stay informed about relevant regulations and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance and mitigate potential risks.
- Prepare and present audit findings and compliance reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Employee Relations:
- Develop and implement strategies to address employee concerns, grievances, and disputes, fostering a positive work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to HR teams and managers on complex employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Whistleblower Inbox Management:
- Oversee the management of the whistleblower inbox, ensuring confidential and timely handling of reported concerns.
- Implement procedures for investigating whistleblower claims and ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.
- Ensure that whistleblower reports are reviewed and acted upon in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Organizational Development:
- Partner with senior leadership and HR to drive organizational change and improve compliance and employee relations practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance overall compliance and employee satisfaction.
- Management and Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a national and diverse remote/hybrid/in office mix of the team responsible for compliance and employee relations functions, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and deliver training programs on compliance, policy adherence, and employee relations.
- 10 years of HR Experience with at least 5 in a leadership and people management function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, or legal qualifications) preferred.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance, employee relations, and organizational policies.
- Proven ability to manage compliance audits, policy development, and investigations effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and diverse teams.
- High level of integrity and discretion, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, acquisitive, and evolving environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on driving change and improving processes.
