- Oversee accounting functions, payroll, tax returns, compliance with federal and local regulations, accounts receivable, and vendor payments. In-depth understanding of US GAAP and ASC606.
- Maintain accounting and reporting systems, oversee internal controls, and support the development of team financial literacy. Work paper documentation. Maintain a robust internal controls environment.
- Conduct capital investment analysis, track company performance, prepare financial statements and reporting, manage budgeting and forecasting, and provide WIP projections.
- Ensure compliance with trade partner contracts, client contracts, insurance, bonding, and company policies, including cybersecurity safeguards.
- Model company values and foster collaboration, community, and commitment within the team and with trade partners.
- 10 years in professional accounting, with 5 years in construction accounting or auditing.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (required), CPA designation.
- Proficient in QuickBooks (required), Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and knowledge of Sage 100 Contractor and Procore (preferred).
- Strong P&L management in construction or similar fields.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
