WHAT YOU WILL DO :
Perform rapid POCs to experiment and build rails for the engineering team
Support engineers and project managers in rapid development and deployment
Actively participate in team and enterprise-wide architecture and engineering discussions.
Introduce enterprise architectural paradigms and solutions into the portfolio.
Drive both high level and detailed design and conduct design reviews
Engage and work with cross-functional leaders to understand and help define business principles, goals and strategy within scope of responsibility.
Communicate to senior leaders regarding strategy direction and changes.
Mentor engineers and solution architects to ensure technology complexities are understood very clearly to implement solutions expeditiously with high quality.
The Background That Fits :
10 years of IT industry experience with 3 years in a Solutions or Technical Architect role, focusing more on development operations.
Extensive hands-on experience designing and developing AWS Serverless solutions (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions).
Proven expertise in designing and developing asynchronous and RESTful APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Strong backend development experience using TypeScript and Node.js, with additional proficiency in languages like Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
Demonstrated leadership in guiding technical teams, driving project outcomes, and mentoring team members in a senior capacity.
Skilled in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and effectively communicating designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficient in microservices architecture and service mesh technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Istio) for scalable, distributed systems.
Solid understanding of data technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, DynamoDB, MongoDB, GraphQL).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field required.
