We are looking for a highly motivated Clinical Supervisor Hematology to oversee the operation of our clinical department. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field and at least six years of work experience.
The successful incumbent will supervise the overall operation, encompassing planning, organizing, coordinating, evaluating, and performing tests requiring special scientific skills. They will be responsible for quality programs and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include providing day-to-day supervision, attending laboratory management meetings, and ensuring technical personnel are responsive to client inquiries. The supervisor will also prepare work schedules, assign and prioritize work to staff, and monitor the use of equipment and reagents.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides day-to-day supervision/oversight of the laboratory operation and personnel performing testing and reporting of test results;
- Attends laboratory management meetings and informs his/her employees of pertinent information;
- Ensures that technical personnel are responsive to client inquiries or problems and/or that they are directed to a competent authority;
- Monitors use of equipment, reagents/supplies, and orders/stocks inventory to maintain adequate levels, ensuring uninterrupted service.
