What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Accu-sembly, Inc.?
Accu-sembly, Inc., a well-established contract manufacturer of electronic assemblies, has an opportunity for a talented Quality Control Inspectors. Our company offers a challenging and rewarding environment with an opportunity for career growth.
We are specifically searching for candidates with experience doing quality control on printed circuit boards in an electronic assembly manufacturing environment. Certified in IPC-A-610 standards is preferred. Strong electronic component identification knowledge is a big plus.
Accu-sembly, Inc. is a 9/80 employer. Our employees enjoy a Friday-off every other week! That means a longer weekend every other week.
Job responsibilities:
- Performs quality check on assemblies during first article inspection and pre-wave inspection
- Performs quality check on soldering of through-hole and SMT boards
- Performs quality check on assemblies built during pre-packaging inspection
- Issuance of corrective action and analysis of errors
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs summarizing rework and waste, and inputting data into quality database
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge and familiarization of electronic components, identifies components, values, color codes, type of solder, polarity, and tolerance
- Strong command and knowledge of IPC-610 standards
- Computer literate
- Above average communication skills in English - spoken and written
- A college degree and/or certification in engineering may substitute for work experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
