Quality Control Inspector
Location : Sylmar, CA

Pay rate : $25-30 / hr
Duration : 3-6 months (possibly to perm based on attendance & performance)
Summary
This person will assist with the day-to-day final inspection tasks and additional engineering requests where necessary. Additional inspection requirements may be added to assist additional departments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Inspects complex manufactured parts for conformance to print and specification requirements.
- Performs visual, dimensional, final, and optical inspections per instructions.
- Uses basic to complex inspection measurement equipment including CMM, microscopes, optical comparators, and coordinate measurement equipment to set up and verify dimensions and geometric tolerances for compliance.
- Works from engineering drawings, internal and external specifications, quality assurance standards, test procedures, and verbal instructions to determine acceptance of product.
- Participates in continuous improvement teams.
- Assist in supporting customer onsite audits.
- Uses computers to document quality records, first article and dimensional reports, and job status, including the scanning and filing of records." for subject-verb agreement.
- May assist with lean initiatives and participate where required.
