Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at one of our premier clients in Bristol, TN. This position is currently a Temporary assignment only with an expected duration of two-three months.
Duties
- Sort, code, print and match invoices
- Create Purchase Orders as requested
- Match each invoice with the Purchase Order and Packing Slip / Proof of Delivery
- Maintain high level of detail while confirming item amounts / price verification
- Order Office Supplies and other plant items as requested
- Maintain positive and supportive atmosphere for both internal and external customers
- Maintain Office Supply Cabinet in the main office
- Pull weekly unpaid invoices for the AP run
- Consolidation of checks, affixing postage to envelopes weekly
- Filing of paid invoices
- Obtain documentation as needed; invoice, packing slip, etc
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role
- Must have prior experience with Quickbooks
- Proficiency in data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with vendors and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
