Objective of the Role
The Vice President of Ecommerce will lead the overall direction and management of our client's online presence and operations. This role entails not only supervising ecommerce operations, but also navigating relationships with furniture suppliers and technical and logistics vendors. The VP of Ecommerce will be instrumental in enhancing our client's ecommerce platforms, expanding their digital footprint, and driving revenue growth.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate for this role should be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of ecommerce operations and technologies. They should be well-versed in web technologies (including Magento and Mailchimp ideally), and have strong experience in Google Adwords, SEO, email marketing, and social media. The candidate must have a strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets or a P&L, ensuring the most efficient use of resources. Finally, they must be adept at managing relationships with multiple stakeholders, from furniture suppliers to technical and logistics vendors.
