JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Specialist performs a range of
functions necessary to accurately process accounts payable for multiple
facilities. The position works out of the Accura HealthCare Resource Center. Duties include but are not limited to: review and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports accurately and timely, account reconciliation, records maintenance, financial and other reports. The position will prepare and process check payments of accounts payable, record ACH payments, vendor W9 management, 1099 preparation and distribution. The role works with managers and vendors to resolve any account discrepancies.
This position requires coordination with facilities and other departments to ensure the proper flow and maintenance of accounts payable processing. This individual will play a key role in furthering the Accura mission and will be expected to provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate and uphold our values.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- 1-2 years of experience serving in an accounting or accounts payable role
- Keen attention to detail
- Critical problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
- Healthcare experience
- 2-year Business or Accounting
degree
- AP experience in Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care
- Experience working with business offices with multiple sites
