The Regional Sales Manager, Laundry-Warewash will be responsible for managing and expanding Laundry, Warewash, and Food Processing sales throughout their designated region. Will be responsible for targeting new business and enhancing our offering in existing business. Will meet regularly and collaborate with executive management to execute the strategic plan of cultivating new business opportunities. Management of Area Sales Managers Laundry-Warewash in large markets. Will also work closely with the technical and service team to ensure proper exposure and customer care within the accounts. Will provide direction on products and pricing, prepare bids, contracts, presentations, and visit customers regularly. Support the development of profitable competitive pricing models and technical proposals to allow the best possible change of success. This position is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the executive team to create and implement strategic plan for growth of market segment in designated region.
- Management of Area Sales Managers Laundry-Warewash in large markets
- Collaborate with sales team to identify opportunities within the market
- Provide product cross referencing and provide coached pricing on new business opportunities for sales team.
- Independent of sales team, will be responsible to identify and close new business opportunities throughout region with market specific goals.
- Coordinate with technical and service team to ensure installations and service visits are being administrated properly and customers are satisfied.
- Helps executive team to formulate and recommend operational policies within the category.
- Minimizes customer complaints and is active in problem resolution.
- Provide direction on products and pricing, prepare bids, contracts, and presentations.
- Manage relationships with vendors and quality of products with manufacturers.
- Have an in depth understanding of the customer's needs to proactively identify solutions that best meet customer expectations. • Analyzes competitive data.
- Answers inquiries from customers and suppliers and handles complaints.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Prior supervisory experience, including managing teams across locations
- Intermediate level with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Word).
- Detailed oriented and organized
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Multi-task and prioritize under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate math skills
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
