HIRING IMMEDIATELY: LOGISTICS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST IN KATY, TX
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Logistics Operations Specialist to join our client in Katy, TX. This individual will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders through the company's ERP on a daily basis, as well as coordinating logistics for inbound and outbound shipments as needed. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $20/hour, paid weekly
- Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
- Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
- Located in Katy, TX
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be able to fulfill customer orders through the company's ERP on a daily basis
- Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments as needed
- Document Control Management of all logistic documentation, foreign and domestic
- Manage multiple freight vendors for logistical needs based on price, time-frame and quality
- Track and provide shipping reports Ops Manager with cost analysis reporting
- Keep track of warehouse inventory turnover and make suggestions or recommendations as seen fit
- Work with the Ops Manager in maintaining product lead times; recognize and address and obscurities or issues as they arise
- Monitor dashboards of all key performance indicators, anticipating business needs and issues
- Assist Ops Manager in managing Vendor relationships and order execution
- Be able to execute and implement all business processes, old and new, that pertain to this role
- Assist with all inventory volume planning by providing weekly and monthly sales reports versus company sales projections
- Support the logistics team in other tasks if needed
- Receive, research and respond to any internal inquiries regarding ship dates or lead times promptly and efficiently
Requirements and Qualifications
- General knowledge of warehouse and inventory practices
- Ability to maintain organized records
- Ability to produce analytical reports
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates
- Must be computer literate and have experience using Word, Excel and G-suite
- Education and Experience
- 2 years in the logistics industry
- Operations experience a plus
- NetSuite experience is a plus
