Title: Process Technician
Pay: $24-30/hr.
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shifts Available!

Essential Job Tasks
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation, including machines and equipment, by upholding high standards of housekeeping and 5S in assigned areas.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), to meet company standards.
- Identify and correct safety hazards as they arise and notify the appropriate personnel.
- Monitor machines for mechanical issues through visual and auditory inspection.
- Take corrective actions and assist in problem-solving for machine issues, ensuring timely notification of relevant personnel.
- Ensure the correct stock and materials are used and available at all times.
- Perform machine line setup, troubleshooting, and adjustments for production runs.
- Conduct machinery startup and shutdowns efficiently.
- Develop machine setup parameters and heat profiles for production runs.
- Perform in-process inspections of parts to meet quality and conformance standards.
- Recognize and correct product defects, making necessary equipment adjustments.
- Maintain and review required logs, check sheets, inspection sheets, and work orders.
- Assist with the overall maintenance and minor repairs of machines and equipment.
- Complete preventative maintenance following manufacturer guidelines, troubleshoot malfunctions, and call for repairs as needed.
- Calculate dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of tooling and equipment based on specifications.
- Monitor product quality using visual inspection and dimensional measuring tools.
- Ensure all materials, tooling, and master tooling are properly labeled, segregated, and returned before and after production.
- Perform pre- and post-production tool inspections, installations, and removals.
- Maintain machine efficiency according to department standards to achieve performance goals.
- Manage and maintain supply inventory.
- Communicate job status and production issues to next-shift Process Technicians, Leads, and Supervisors.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing Events as required.
- Assist in training and coaching team members while supporting other machine operators as needed.
Additional Duties as Needed
- Gather packing supplies and assemble cartons for assigned lines.
- Sort and pack finished products into specified containers (bags, cartons, etc.).
- Stack finished cartons onto skids according to proper patterns.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous Machine Operator experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Exemplify company core values.
- Ability to analyze data and address issues proactively.
- Capability to be on feet for the majority of the day.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to see data at close range and work with precision.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (average 75 lbs.) manually or with a pallet jack.
- Ability to operate and certify as a forklift driver.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and comprehension skills.
- Knowledge of raw materials, quality control, cost-efficiency, and distribution techniques.
- Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
- Understanding of safety practices and precautions in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in team-oriented settings.
