Join our dynamic team at a local company in Statesville, NC, where we are currently seeking skilled Material Handler / Forklift Operator to fill a 1st shift opening.
Key Responsibilities :
- Valid forklift certification or license and / or proven experience as a forklift operator. (2 years required)
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be comfortable working indoors and in outdoor environments for up to 10 hours per day as needed.
- Experience on Propane powered sit-down forklifts is strongly preferred.
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks ensuring proper handling and storage of materials.
- Keep accurate records of inventory and materials movement.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues.
