Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Tube Cell Operator to join a great manufacturing team located in Mooresville, NC!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to read blueprints accurately. The CNC Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Set up and execute CNC tube benders programs.
- Produce parts in compliance with the companies work instructions, drawings, and bill of materials router
- Check work quality using Coordinate Measuring equipment, fixtures, and gages as required
- Follow company procedures and process instructions in accordance with the ISO9001 program
- Maintains the area’s fixtures, tooling and gages in clean and orderly condition
- Performs operator defined equipment Preventative Maintenance
- Assist and works with Engineers to develop new parts machine programs, and produce prototypes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
Experience
- Knowledge of CNC bending software
- 2 years’ experience with programming and set up of CNC tube bending machines
- 2 years’ experience with setting-up, developing and manufacturing tube assemblies from start to finish
- Capable of using precision tools to accurately measure tight tolerances (CMM, calipers, height gauge, scales, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- High School diploma or equivalent
Hours: 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday
Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $20.00, depending on experience.
