This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our fast-food restaurants across the Evansville, IN; Bowling Green, KY; and Owensboro, KY markets.
Job Description: As a General Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of our restaurants, ensuring they are safe, clean, and fully operational at all times. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting general repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, tiling, painting, and restaurant equipment troubleshooting.
- Performing routine inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.
- Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner and resolving them efficiently.
- Collaborating with restaurant managers and staff to ensure maintenance needs are met without disrupting daily operations.
- Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- General knowledge and experience in plumbing, tiling, painting, and general repairs, preferably within a fast-food restaurant or similar environment.
- Minor familiarity with refrigeration such as walk-in coolers, ice machines, and soda fountains.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willing to travel to up to 200 miles roundtrip.
