Job Description- Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative
The primary function of this position includes but is not limited to facilitate and assist maintaining our small ware's inventory as well as providing order updates and product information to both our outside sales staff as well as directly to our customers. Ace Endico is one of the largest purveyors of fine food and supplies in the Northeast. We have a young Equipment and supplies department to service our extensive and growing customer base. Essential Duties Include:
- Assist with processing orders including sourcing, quoting, and processing order entry
- Communicate with Customers and Representatives via phone and e-mail about products and prices
- Determine the needs of our supporting staff and our customers, recommending solutions and providing first line support when appropriate
- Maintains vendor relationships through regular communication to get quotes and potential discounts
- With an eye on Just In Time Inventory, help identify & support sufficient small ware's stock levels
- Assist Customer Service and customers as required with After Sales Support
- Research new products to offer our customers
Hours: Wednesday - Sunday (8:30am-5:00pm)
Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr.
Requirements:
Education/Training:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Restaurant Equipment and / or Foodservice experience a BIG plus!
Job Knowledge and Skills:
- A willingness to become a student of the foodservice industry through training and ongoing education. This is key!
- Possesses competent written, verbal, time-management, and Problem-Solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and pay attention to multiple details and directives at a time
- Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent phone and communication skills
- An analytical, detailed oriented person that has ambition to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings, documents, and CAD drawings
- Effective interpersonal skills to successfully work with others in the organization
