The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of the employment lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding. Additionally, the HR Manager will oversee the company’s safety program, ensuring a secure, compliant, and healthy work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employment Lifecycle Management:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new hires into the company culture.
- Manage employee performance management processes, including setting goals, conducting evaluations, and supporting career development initiatives.
- Oversee offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and conducting exit interviews.
- Maintain accurate employee records throughout the employment cycle, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Safety Program Management:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure company-wide adherence to OSHA guidelines and other relevant safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Organize and deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels.
- Respond to and investigate workplace accidents, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions are taken.
- General HR Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws, including wage and hour laws, leave policies, and discrimination laws.
- Assist with the development and implementation of company-wide HR policies and procedures.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, diversity, and inclusion across all HR processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR management, with a focus on managing the full employment cycle and safety programs.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, safety regulations, and best HR practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, as well as handle sensitive employee issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff and leadership.
Preferred Skills:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- OSHA certification or experience managing safety programs.
- Familiarity with HR software and tools.
