Manufacturing Process Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team as a Manufacturing Process Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the PPAP process from requirements gathering to final approval.

• Developing Control Plans and FMEAs to ensure quality standards are met.
">
• Interpreting CPK and CP data to identify areas for improvement.
">
• Applying knowledge of IATF 16949 and process controls to drive continuous improvement.

• Working closely with Automotive OEMs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
">
• Conducting internal layered audits and implementing process improvements.
">
• Utilizing CMMs, Faro arms, and measurement tools to monitor quality metrics.
">
• Leading a team of 4 associates across 3 shifts and driving cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

">
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive quality.
">
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally.
">
• Excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with blueprint tolerances and measurement tools.
">
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data organization for reporting.
">
• Experience with assembly, machining, or aluminum casting processes is a plus.
">
• Bachelor's degree in engineering is highly desirable.
