Job Purpose
The Process Manufacturing Engineer will maximize manufacturing OEE and line capacities through cycle time and downtime reduction with a focus on FOG / FSI activity on mechanical and electrical projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Maximize production output through cycle time and downtime reduction
- Troubleshoot and analyze equipment to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Develop & implement countermeasures to eliminate reoccurring long downtime situations.
- Work to determine root cause analysis.
- Analyze equipment data to identify areas for improvement in equipment – use trend data to proactively address issues before they are major problems.
- Lead long downtime situations with troubleshooting electrical & mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Prepare reports for long downtime situations & month end OEE reporting.
- Support projects and identify new technologies for improvement :
- Identify new technologies / equipment / processes that can drive continuous improvement – test the concept.
- Support projects or participate as team member so that intended / required project outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.
