Each club features between 8-16 courts in a climate-controlled environment and uses on-court technology for instant replay and live streaming to provide the ultimate pickleball playing experience. Our mission is to elevate the sport of pickleball by inspiring new players and providing enthusiasts of all skill levels access to a welcoming community, optimal playing conditions and opportunities for growth. Members of all ages and skill levels can visit the Ace Pickleball Club location to participate in a variety of activities including daily open play, clinics, leagues, tournaments, social and glow-in-the-dark events. An integral part of the APC HQ Marketing Team, the Marketing Specialist will contribute to the rapid growth of the franchise network by supporting franchise owners with field marketing efforts, developing and leading network-wide promotions, and maintaining key marketing assets and infrastructure. This position is team-oriented and works to understand the business and partners cross-functionally with other departments. The person in this role must have experience in developing marketing plans, knowledge of market trends, and an enthusiasm to drive brand awareness to target the right audiences. They must have a strong understanding of digital strategies and the ability to integrate messaging across multiple platforms to achieve results. The Marketing Specialist inherently places value on building community and seeks to ensure Ace Pickleball Club is an industry leader in the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive brand awareness, customer engagement and revenue growth through strategic planning, campaign execution and performance analysis.
Campaign Development & Management:
· Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and print.
· Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.
Content Creation & Management:
· Develop and manage compelling marketing content, including blog posts, digital ads, email newsletters, out of home, and promotional materials.
· Manage and update the company’s website and social media platforms to ensure fresh, engaging content.
Market Research & Analysis:
· Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
· Analyze campaign performance metrics and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Brand Management:
· Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
· Contribute to the development and refinement of the company’s branding strategy.
Collaboration & Communication:
· Work closely with sales, product, and design teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
· Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and influencers.
· Work closely with franchisees and anticipate their needs, including assets, emails, marketing recommendations, and more.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven experience of at least 3 years in a marketing role, preferably with franchise or related industry experience
· Knowledge of paid advertising platforms and agency management
· Familiar with grassroots marketing strategies
· Strong project management and planning skills
· Experience organizing and launching promotions in a multi-unit setting
· Familiar with graphic design tools like Adobe Suite and Canva
· Experience using email marketing platforms
· Must be highly organized and comfortable managing multiple schedules, and have excellent communication and time management skills as well as the ability to think ahead to anticipate department needs
· Must be comfortable taking calls with third parties independently
· Ability to work under pressure and oversee multiple projects independently
· Exceptional attention to detail and ability to send detailed recap emails
· Strong interpersonal communication skills
· Positive can-do attitude and a love for fitness and building community
