About the Role:
Acemco Incorporated is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Repairman to join our team on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Salaries start at $29.00 per hour, going up to $42.00 per hour. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, and fixtures to ensure smooth production. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in tool and die maintenance, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
🔧 Troubleshoot and repair tools, dies, and molds to ensure optimal performance.
🔄 Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
📐 Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
⚙️ Operate machining equipment such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines to fabricate or modify parts.
🔍 Inspect tools and dies for wear, damage, or defects and take corrective actions.
📂 Maintain records of repairs, modifications, and maintenance work performed.
🤝 Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and supervisors to resolve tooling issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Previous experience in tool and die repair.
🎯The ability and experience of In-press repairs and repairs on the horses.
🛠️ Proficiency with machining tools and equipment.
📊 Strong knowledge of metal properties and heat treatment processes.
📖 Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
🧩 Problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
🤔 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
