Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) is an intensive, team-based behavioral health service that offers individualized support in the community to people with serious mental health conditions and high service needs. PACT assists individuals in their recovery from mental health conditions and in developing fulfilling lives, as well as increasing their time and engagement in community settings rather than institutions such as hospitals and jails.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides vocational training and employment opportunities to PACT consumers in an effort to maintain their full integration into the community in the least restrictive environment.
- Provides ongoing support (job coach) to consumers and collaborates with employers as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral science from an accredited institution
- Have at least two years of experience in vocational assessment, job preparation, or individualized job placement and/or job coaching with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances.
