About Us: Aces for Autism, a non-profit based in Winterville, NC, is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. We pride ourselves on our grassroot advocacy efforts to impact access to services for individuals with autism in eastern North Carolina.
Aces for Autism mission is to serve individuals and families impacted by autism from diagnosis through adulthood. We exist to ensure each individual and family member receives the care and support to live a life filled with Hope, Joy, and Success. We believe everyone is created by God for a purpose. Position Summary: The Marketing and Special Projects Manager will provide support for the development of positive professional relationships with the community. This includes organizing and attending events during non-working hours. They will support and follow the direction of CEO to expand funding and support programming. They are responsible for building positive, professional relationships and supporting Aces for Autism mission.
Requirements:
Activities:
- Annually assist in developing and executing an annual events calendar
- Annually develop and execute marketing and special projects goals and update progress toward goals
- Annually develop and execute organization annual report
- Annually lead Greenville and Wilson fundraisers
- Promote Aces for Autism brand awareness in the community
- Manage logistics and develop promotional material for all events
- Oversees management of interns and volunteers
- Meet with senior leadership monthly and report on:
- Social posts and engagements
- Website engagements and updates
- Measuring success of campaigns
- Bloomerang constituent’s additions and responses
- Bloomerang monthly newsletter
- Upcoming events (number of registrations, volunteers, needs, etc.)
- Provide Centralreach reports for previous month
- Monthly execute:
- Attendance and photos/videos at special activities
- Monthly newsletter
- Set-up and presentation for orientations
- Set-up and attendance at community events and recruitment activities
- Maintenance of website and apparel inventory
- Weekly execute:
- Minimum four social media posts on all platforms
- Create marketing materials
- Perform assigned administrative tasks
- Maintain and organize photos and videos
Experience:
- Experience in marketing.
- Experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Experience fulfilling the mission and values of an organization
- Knowledge of SEO
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience running marketing and promotional campaigns on social media
