Security Patrol Officer (Full-Time)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Patrol Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents. The Security Patrol Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems, perform regular patrols to deter and detect any suspicious activities and conduct vehicle/ foot patrols at multiple properties and sites.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Provide assistance during conflicts or disturbances, utilizing conflict management techniques.
• Document incidents and prepare reports as required for law enforcement or management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud risks.

Skills

• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
• Current Driver License Required
• Comfortable driving company vehicles
• Proficient in surveillance techniques and equipment operation.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and practices.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and monitoring procedures.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergencies.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
