Responsibilities:
- Create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for our guests
- Cultivate professional relationships to encourage repeat business
- Follow brand protocols and guidelines
- Operate hot cooking equipment to prepare breakfast items
- Monitor and adjust buffet to meet demand while reducing waste
- Ensure the buffet is neat, full, and presented beautifully
- Assist guests with seating and table clearing
- Fulfill special requests with a positive attitude
- Ensure food is fresh and replenish condiments throughout breakfast hours
- Keep the coffee station fresh, stocked, and clean
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, dining area, and beverage stations
- Efficiently set up, manage, and take down the breakfast buffet
- Perform post-breakfast cleaning and sanitization
- Handle food deliveries and manage waste disposal
- Assist and cross-train in other departments as required
- Take and monitor inventory
- Receive and inspect food orders
- Collaborate with teammates and go the extra mile to enhance the guest experience
- Cross-train and assist other departments as needed
- Follow safety and sanitization regulations
- Complete up-to-date brand training
- Abide by brand standards
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Safe Serve Certified with knowledge of food safety and sanitization protocols.
- Previous experience as a breakfast attendant, cook, or in a similar role.
- Ability to operate hot cooking equipment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to changes.
- Team-player with the flexibility to work varied schedules.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
- Manual dexterity for handling and reaching.
- Physical strength to lift, move, or carry items exceeding 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
Language and Environment:
- Good command of the English language.
- Ability to work in a moderate to noisy environment typical of the hospitality industry.
