Credit Union Operations Trainer
Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States
Full-time
Major Duties:
- Serves as the Credit Union Trainer by conducting company training programs for employees.
- Writes and updates training procedures and training materials.
- Assists with responding to audit requests and backing up the HR Department.
- Responds to questions and/or provides information upon request from internal and external members.
- Complies with all Credit Union rules and regulations, including BSA/AML.
Education & Experience:
- 1-3 years of similar or related experience and a 2-year college degree or completion of a specialized certification or licensing or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program – related to education or training.
- Motivating and influencing others is a material part of the job. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others. The role requires a significant level of trust or diplomacy.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong administrative skills needed.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Credit Union policies or procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite. Symitar, Meridian Link, Velera and Candescent experience preferred CU experience helpful.
- Ability to adjust schedule and travel to various parts of the organization to train and assist.
Salary:
Depending on experience & skill
($50,000 - $55,000)
