Duties and Responsibilities:
· Financial Strategy and Revenue Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's overall goals and objectives, such as profitability, growth, and sustainability.
· Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
· Cash Management: Manage the company's cash flow, including cash collections, disbursements, debt, equity, and investments, to ensure the company has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations.
· Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage financial risks, such as currency risk, interest rate risk, cybersecurity, and commodity risk.
· Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
· Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liability and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
· Budgeting: Develop and manage the company's annual budget, as well as, departmental budgets, including forecasting revenue and expenses, and monitoring performance against budget
· Accounting Operations: Oversee the company's accounting operations and team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable.
· Inventory Management: Manage the company's inventory, including tracking and analyzing inventory levels and managing inventory costs.
ERP Systems and Quickbooks: maintenance of Netsuite enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Quickbooks Online.
Audit Management: Develop and oversee the company's financial audits, including coordinating with external auditors and ensuring timely and accurate completion of audit requirements.
· Continuous Improvement & Cost Savings: Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to increase cost savings, efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education and experience to meet the responsibilities and duties of the role.
- Understanding of accounting, financial modeling, taxes
- Leadership and people management skills, strong communication
- Knowledge of compliance regulations
- Tech Savvy and experience with Quickbooks Online for the full accounting cycle and an ERP system
- An eagerness to learn and grow and commit for a long-term career
