Job Summary : The Evaluation Department Manager is responsible for ensuring all children referred for evaluation receive high quality, clinically appropriate assessments in accordance with state and county regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensure all reports submitted are of high quality and undergo quality assurance review
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the evaluation process in the various programs
- Assist with supervision of all employees within the Evaluation Department
- Assist with billing issues as needed and ensure timely payment for completed evaluations
- Conduct daily department monitoring activities to ensure goals are met
- Attend IEP and IFSP meetings
- Conduct home and center-based evaluations and / or observations when necessary
- Conduct professional development workshops as needed
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the evaluation process
- Conduct quality assurance audits
- Communicate with various referral sources regarding pending cases
- Other duties as assigned by Director
