Achieve Equine seeks an Order Management Specialist to join our small team. This role will primarily conduct transactions to process, fulfill and ship orders to customers. This role also is responsible for inventory management functions, and other miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.

With global distribution serving B2B and B2C customers, Achieve Equine is a family-owned company bringing innovative, evidenced-based products to the market for the health, welfare, and performance of horses. Based in Delano, MN, Achieve Equine is the maker of FLAIR® Equine Nasal Strips.

HOURS: Monday- Friday 08:00am-12:30pm. Occasional flex time a possibility between the hours of 8:00-4:30pm M-F.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Process and fulfill customer orders, ensuring accuracy in terms of invoicing, payment receipt, picking and packing and shipping method.
  • Accurately generate shipping labels and packing slips
  • Generate and maintain detailed records of orders, invoices, payments, and any customer communication for customer service follow-up.
  • Handle order modifications, cancellations, and requests for returns or exchanges, ensuring compliance with company policies and high standards of customer care.
  • Collaborate with management team to resolve pricing discrepancies, credit issues, or payment delays that may impact order processing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the management team to ensure inventory availability and reserve stock for orders.
  • Receive and stock inventory of product from pallets.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to company core values with drive, collaboration, education and innovation at the forefront.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork with open, clear and honest communication that is respectful and sensitive to all members of the team.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or experience in business operations, logistics or supply chain operations preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Flexibility and ability to work well with others in a small team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (primarily Outlook and Word and experience with Excel)
  • Experience with QuickBooks or other bookkeeping software preferred
  • Experience with inventory management preferred
  • Experience with accounts receivables preferred
  • Able to pick and pack orders of various sizes
  • Able to frequently move packages weighing on average 2-20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
