Qualifications for employment include a Masters Degree or higher in the field, a current state license, and working knowledge of pediatric development.

Job Duties:
- Plans, organizes, and conducts occupational therapy to the pediatric population in a private out-patient setting to facilitate development and rehabilitation of children dealing with a variety of delays, disabilities, deficits, and learning differences.
- Provides practice in functional daily living skills.
- Coordinates participation in sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities designed to help patients develop or regain physical or cognitive functioning or adjust to disabilities.
- Consults with other members of rehabilitation team to select activity program consistent with needs and capabilities of individual.
- Selects constructive activities suited to individual's physical capacity, cognitive level, and interest to progress individual to maximum independence, assist in restoration of functions.
- Evaluates patient progress and keeps up with annual or semiannual re-evaluations.
- Participates in training programs in occupational therapy techniques and objectives.
- Conducts formal evaluations and provide professional and clear written report for each evaluation.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
- Comply with professional, ethical, and legal standards.
Qualifications for employment include:
