We are currently seeking an Full-Time Recreation Aide to join our growing team of profesionals. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills and will assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing , and evaluating the recreation programs for our residents.
The Recreation Aide position rotates evenings and weekends hours.
Recreation Aide Responsibilities:
- Lead activity programs for residents.
- Develop and create new recreation programs.
- Encourage residents' participation in programs.
- Prepare supplies and activities in advance.
- Participate in monthly activity calendar production.
- Track attendance at programs.
- Coordinate activities with other departments, as necessary.
- Assist in developing individualized care plans.
- Implement recreation procedures as directed by the Recreation Director by creating decorations, setting up necessary equipment as needed.
Recreation Aide Requirements:
- Must possess, as a minimum of, a high school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Must be energetic with a flexible schedule.
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
- Previous experience as a Activity Aide is preferred but not required.
