About the Agency:
We are an agency that was founded ten years ago, in 2015, by the joint efforts of dedicated BCBAs and LCSWs. We have a successful history of supporting children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families with direct, in-home/in-community ABA therapeutic services. Our approach uses the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to mentor and support these children towards increasing their communication, adaptability, resilience, and independence. We are BCBA owned and operated agency with a mission is to build our ABA Professionals Network and connect these service providers to the communities that need ABA services on a daily basis. Presently, we are seeking ABA Behavioral Technicians (BTs) to join our network of dedicated ABA professionals, to provide direct ABA services to children with ASD, in collaboration with one of our many esteemed Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBAs).
Behavior Technician Tasks:
- Measure, assess, and document skill acquisition of student's progress on the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)
- 1:1 Goal-oriented, in home, direct service work with a student involving implmentation of ABA approaches including but not limited to discrete trial teaching, prompting, modeling, redirection, reinforcements, and reward-systems.
- Thorough and comprehensive session-to-session documentation, data analyisis, and billing.
- Actively engaging with clinical direction and professional feedback from BCBA supervisor(s)
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients or students, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers
Your responsibility as the BT is to
- Providing Direct ABA Services in the home working on goals independently with the child
- Understand the treatment plan and goals
- Collect session notes and data using an app called RETHINK

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in an Applied Behavior Analytics role (paraprofessional and/or behavior technician work is most applicable)
- An understanding of the compilation and use of data in the care and success of clients
- a passion to make an impact on students and familys and empower them to find their independent success
- a dedication to develop in the Special Education or ABA field
- ability to articulate behaviors and the approaches and steps it takes take to modify them
- multilingual is a plus
