Your Work Matters!
Every week, you will…Be the content expert!
Work one-on-one, in small groups, and in whole class settings to provide support to scholars and staff to enhance skills daily
Use data to identify and support scholars in need of small group or individual intervention/acceleration to achieve mastery
Develop lesson plans, curriculum, and assessments to monitor scholar progress and program effectiveness
Consult frequently with classroom teachers on matters relating to instruction using our progress-monitoring instrument as a base.
Collaborate with school leaders in planning, conducting, and evaluating professional development around instructional practices
Support teachers in identifying scholars’ strengths and weaknesses and match these skills with appropriate techniques and materials.
Push-in to classrooms to provide small group instruction in connection with the lead teacher
Identify curricular resources, innovative ideas, and instructional strategies to ensure scholar achievement

Establish and maintain relationships with scholars and families based on trust and respect, communicating effectively, proactively, and often regarding scholar progress, triumphs, and challenges
Attend, support, and participate quarterly Family Nights/events

Improve your practice through regular formal and informal observations, weekly coaching sessions, weekly professional development, data-driven reflection, and self-learning.
Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary to fulfill Achievement Prep’s mission for our scholars
You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree or higher
2 years of experience as a teacher of record in a K – 12 setting, preferably in historically underserved communities
Teacher leadership experience (grade level lead, department chair, mentor teacher, etc.) is always a plus
